Q: I’ve got a massive hickey on my neck. What can I do to hide it?

A: Oops, kinda snuck up on you huh? It happens. Start with an eyeshadow primer like Urban Decay Primer Potion, €17, and rub it on the affected area (or areas!). Next apply Rimmel’s Hide the Blemish, €5.53, and smooth it out past the bruise. Don’t overload it or it’ll look too obvious. To seal, take a power brush and use the edges to press translucent powder onto the skin. Don’t use a sweeping motion, patting will see it stay in place longer. If you’ve long hair, wear it down and if it’s chilly out you can get away with a scarf (FYI, if it’s a scorcher out, you’ll only draw attention to your neck if you rock a snugly wool one). Before bed, lash on some Arnica Gel, available over the counter at the chemist, which should help the bruising fade a bit faster. Next, plot your revenge…
