I would sing Firework by katy perry at kareoke because i think its is a very motivational song that would relate to everybody in the audience at some point in their life. i would like to be able to lift their spirits and see them being inspired. i would like to get everyone jumping out of their seats singing and dancing along. i think firework is a happy song which would make everyone feel good and smile.
I would sing ‘Don’t Rain on my Parade’ because it is my favourite Glee song. It would be great practise ‘cuz I’m going to be on Broadway when I’m older

At karoke I would sing ‘Don’t stop believing’ because Its one of my favourite songs from glee and I don’t know one person who doesn’t like it. I think its a really inspirational song because it teaches you to never give up, keep going and of course to not stop believing. I also think that it’s a great song to sing along to and if I were to do that in karoke I can see everyone joining in and singing along and just really enjoying it. Overall I just think it’s a brilliant song!

I’m going to be cliched but honest and say that if I were to sing a Glee song on karaoke, it would be ‘Don’t Stop Believing’! I find it really empowering and uplifting to listen to; for example I just did my Junior Cert in June, and one evening a couple of days before english paper 1 I came home and cried hard because I just couldn’t keep going… I took a break and while listening to my ipod, this song came on and I sensed there was a little light called summer at the end of the tunnel and it wasnt impossible to reach as long as I didnt stop believing that the end was near…

If i was going to sing a slow song it’d be “I feel pretty/ unpretty” because its so inspirational and teaches girls that we need to be confident in who we are but if it was an upbeat song i would sing “Jessies Girl” because its in my absolute favourite episode ‘Laryngitis’ and it was also the first time i realised how hot Finn is!

I would sing ‘On my own’ from Les Miserables. It’s an amazing song, good length, not high notes and its also my mams favourite song so I know it inside out.
I would sing ‘Don’t Rain On My Parade’ from ‘Funny Girls’ because absolutely no-one can rain on MY parade – I have the biggest umbrella ever! I always sing this song when I am annoyed or angry and I love Barbra Streisand too! Not many people are into Broadway show tunes but I am, I’m not that into chart music either…
i would sing ‘loser like me’ as i think the song is so powerful and it really tells the haters, when im a star one day you will be calling my name and i will just look away, its an amazing song.

The Glee song I would sing at karaoke would be “Raise Your Glass” . I would choose this song because it’s such an energetic and lively song and it really shows of youre personality depending on how you sing and perform it. Also it’s quite ironic how Glee covered this song because of them being portayed as under dogs and in Raise your glass is the line “All my underdogs” ..This song is a right crowd pleaser too
At karaoke i’d sing glee, marry you (by bruno mars) simply just because i absoloutly love this song! and i LOVE singing, i want to be a singer! I would sing I Wanna Hold Your Hand sung by Kurt. I love this version more than the original and it makes me want to cry every time because Chris Colfer sings it so emotionally and incredibly well.

If I was to sing any song at karaoke, i would sing Loser Like Me, which the Glee cast sang at Regionals.
I would sing this song as it inspires all who listen. It is such an uplifting song sung by a group of people who play characters that are in different cliques but all feel they are losers. Every time I listen to Loser Like Me it raises my spirits because it makes me think that even if I am a loser, I could one day turn out to be someone others (potentially the people that put me down) could envy.

i would sing true colours cos it’s a really beautiful song about supporting your friends and being there for people ‘you just call me up and you know i’ll be there’, that to me is true friendship. it’s really relatable and i just can’t stop singing it. the words ‘i see your true colors and thats why i love you’ are about not being afraid to be yourself and people will love you for it and thats what glee is all about.
I love all glee songs but the one that stands out most is ‘Over The Rainbow’. It stands out to me because my friends and family call me a day dreamer and this song is something similar to day dream because when somebody was singing it it makes my day dream. It has a lovely melody to it and it’s beautiful when glee sings it. So sweet , so simple , so beautiful , it’s so glee.

I would sing ‘Loser like me’ It makes me feel so good about myself. All the time. Listening to Rachel and Finn and the others sing this every time always lifts my spirts in the darkest of times. Whether it be being smothered in tears and need to find something to stop them, or just to make myself feel good, ‘Loser like me’ is always there. Because in the song it gives that message that being different is what makes you special, and no matter how many times you get knocked down for it, it’s always important to have belief in yourself and forget all the haters. So i’d sing this loud and proud for everyone to hear. I’d hit out a note that would put miss.Berry to shame, and Brittany wouldn’t get a look in when it came to my dance moves. I would sing ‘Sing’ by My Chemical Romance because it’s all about singing for those who are left out or forgotten. For me, that’s what Glee’s all about. When I’m sad, it shows me that I have to stand up and smile because tomorrow will be better. It shows me that to be happy, you have to want to be happy.

One of my really good friends was killed by a car in May, and her favourite TV show was Glee, and her favourite song from it was True Colours. I would sing Beautiful, by Christina Aguilera. I love that song because it describes how people feel when others are jealous of them and put them down because of their looks. It is very inspirational to me. My friend commited suicide because she was bullied, so that makes me want to speak out about it, if you know what I mean. Its a song that just has a feelgood factor.

i would sing ‘imagine’ by john lennon it is such an amazing song about trying imagine a place where things that divide people (religion, possessions, etc.) did not exist. when it was sung on the show it was such a powerfull message to sent to teens to show that deaf people (people with other illnesses) are just as taltented as people with none! i think its important for all teens to relise that

The song I’d sing if I won would definitely be a duet with a friend of ‘The Boy is Mine’ by Brandy and Monica, for a few reasons: 1) the original song is ace and totally underrated; 2) it was one of my absolute favourites from the programme; 3) it’s a song you can really ‘diva up’ and give some major attitude to, perfect when having a laugh at karaoke with your friends!

I think it’ll have to be “pretty/unpretty.” I’ll risk all my street cred. and admit I welled up when Quinn and Rachel preformed this last series..(sniff). It’s such a beautiful song with a very wise and resonating message about self image..(very dep
). The glee version also happens to be slightly less cheesy than the TLC original, which is just as gorgeous don’t get me wrong but has a bit of a hip-hop “thang” goin’ on (bit cringey but in fairness it was the 90s and they were just cringey in general!).

So the songs I would have picked are ‘Loser Like Me’ and ‘Don’t Stop Believeing’ because lets face it, those songs are upbeat and fun:) Sio instead im going to try be different and sparkle a little bit! The song for Karaoke I would pick is Glee’s cover of ‘Lucky’. Karaoke is great for having a laugh, belting out to songs that are loud and mightly, but it also has another aspect to it, songs that are slow yet pretty like ‘Lucky’. Other songs are great to sing to and laugh to with others, but ‘Lucky’ is more of a duet which is another great aspect to karaoke! Duets are really fun to sing and share with others, like you really are singing the lyrics to eachother! and ‘Lucky’ has the most beautifull lyrcis, weither your singing to someone you like or simply your bestfriend! And the lovely duet can be laugh, singing to your partner as you look eachother in the eyes, or fake putting a ‘flower in heir hair’
Not only is ‘Lucky’ a goreous song to sing, but the music to it makes you feel so relaxed and blissfull, and the guitar strumming just puts you in a happy place! it’s such a soothing song to sing and share with your friends at karaoke!

I would sing total eclipse of the heart and loser like me because me and my two friends did total eclipse of the heart for my class and I played air piano and my friends played air violin and we all sang it and everybody loved it but now we are going to different schools and now we will hardly ever see each other so we wont be able to preform it again

i would sing “light up the world@ because i think its a really fresh, bouncy and funky song. i love th meaning and think it brightens up everyones day. its not slow so it means everyone can get up an dance while im making an atempt to sing it lol. i feel its also an awsome song to sing along with your friends to as well. Total smavage song !!

It may be the obvious choice, but I would sing don’t stop believing. I would sing this because it makes me think of friends because in my stage school we danced to it and had fun messing around to it. also, this song IS GLEE, it was what made us fall in love and get addicted to glee. Also, if u had a bad day and you come home near tears, it helps motivate you and make you happy again

I would chose light up the world because its an original glee so theres no comparison, and it makes all us gleeks feel like we can LIGHT UP THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!
also my 3 year old sister started dancing to it when i was listening to it on my ipod,an`d i just imagine her dancing to it on glee
