Tell us why you love Ireland!

If you’ve picked up a newspaper or turned on the TV the last year, you might be forgiven for thinking that things on this little island are a little bit doom and gloom.
Sure we have our problems, howevs there’s still a ton of deadly stuff that makes Ireland a blimmin’ brill place to live in. Let’s look on the bright side!
We want you to share what you rate about living in Ireland and the best ones will be printed in the mag.
Think about the places you like to go, the food you like to eat, the unique characteristics of Irish people, sayings, stories, habits, tourist attractions, the music, the literature, the culture, the art and the sport.

#KISSheartsIreland
Place to go- The local Rugby Club for the disco
Things to eat- The humble potato
Best Export- NIALL HORAN
We have our sayings like: Whats the craic?! Gluuck! Strain the Spuds! Gwaan ya good thing!!
See where I’m going with this? x
I think the best thing about Ireland is how we study a language for 12 years but are still not fluent. :0 Another great thing about Ireland is Johnny Sexton. And Donal Skehan. And Jedward. And Niall Horan. But that’s beside the point…
Ireland has some of the most amazing landscapes, if only we had the weather! Irish people also have a really friendly vibe off them and are always up for the craic ;D #banter
For such a small country Ireland has had an unbelievable impact on literature. look at Oscar Wilde, Samuel Beckett, W.B Yeats, Brendan Behan, James Joyce and Patrick Kavnagh. I feel proud that I come from a country to punch so above it’s weight. That’s what I love about Ireland….:-)
wow i love ireland!!!!!! i love the way on every sign there is the translation in gailge!!!!! and i also love the way everyone acts about all ireland finals!!!!!!!! we are ll so close but we just don’t know it yet!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Ireland because it has such great scenary, it has alot of famus people that I can druel over! lol Like Jedward, Boyzone, Westlife, Bressie and a good few others!! We also have wonderful beaches around Ireland even though we dont get the weather for them!! But even if I lived in England or America I’d still love to live here!!!
I love living in Ireland because of the friendly people, the lovely country sides.
The accents of each county is something to love ! our lovely language which we learn in every school.
How can anybody not love living in Ireland?
The way people are so friendly! And even if your having a stay cation and its raining you can still have the craic!!
And Ireland is beautiful in its own right!
Is í Éire an chuid is fearr!
I love Ireland because its so different from everywhere else, we are all great craic and Niall Horan hails from here.
Ireland .. The only place that ‘I will, yeah’ means No ..
I love Ireland because it’s the place where beauty and passion, laughter and music come together, wrapped up in myths and legends, and sprinkled with fairy dust and little people…..xxx
I used to like the idea of living in another country because I thought their was more oppurtunities there but, I’ve found you can achieve just as much here if you really try, so, I’ve started looking at the upsides to Ireland. For example, in Eurovision, Ireland has won it THE MOST TIMES! Seven times I believe, so even though our luck hasn’t been great, I always think about that. Also, we have our own special language (Gaeilge of course) and we’re the only country that studies it in school (I think) and I love throwing my basic bits of Irish around and having some people not understand, great for holidays abroad. And finally, I love Ireland because, you always here people in other countries claiming Irish ancestry and their always so proud of it so that proudness rubs off me a bit I think, so, yeah, Ireland pretty good all right “tà sè go maith”
I love Ireland because, it’s a laugh! You won’t get something like The Rocky Road to Poland anywhere else, would you?
Ok seriously people, lets face it: whats NOT to like about Ireland? (apart from its serious lack of sun lately)! Obviously the people are the main factor of its total awsomeness. Dont ya just love ‘em? With there freckley faces, red hair, helpful nature and calm ways……….. IM NOT A STERIO-TYPER OK? :L I think what makes me love this country so much is its history. The passion of people like Micháel Collins and Countess Markievicz would nearly blow you away. And how much talent has enveloped from here: U2, JEDWARD (a.k.a LEGENDS!), Niall Horan ect. Finally i belive we behold the greatest music, culture and dance not to mention the worlds most beautiful language! Sea, sea ana-mhaith sea!
Ireland rock
We have hurling gaelic and ‘class’ weather. We don’t always get the same!! We have our Irish fry-up , our Tayto crisp and our leprauchans!!!
I love Ireland because we have a unique sport (camogie/hurling), we aren’t afraid to party live wild animals and we have the craziest weather!
I love Ireland because of the scenery. There’s a reason it’s called the emerald island
as my mam says ”If Ireland just had better weather, there’d be no reason to go anywhere else in the world” Totally agree with her!
and OF COURSE we have Mr Horan….
Lyons tea… enough said!
Our best products; Butter, Banter, food, Niall Horan, craic, Ireland just rocks in general!
Dia Duit,Ireland is such a good place because,we have so much rain,& how else are we gona show off our amazing wellies:) ,also we have the best drink,Obama Approved;D ♥.
The accents!!! And JEDWARD!!!
I dont live in ireland but I wish I did because i’m in LOVE with the accents and JEDWAAAARD!!!
Whats NOT to love about Eire? hmmm..? seriously like.
Ok, so we might not get the predictable crisp winters and hot summers like many countries, but hey, who wants predictable weather? Unpredictable FTW!!
We are also such a unique country; GAA, food, landscapes and language. We have produced some of the most amazing bands and singers; U2 Niall Horan, Hudson Taylor (A.K.A Harry and Alfie), Boyzone, Westlife and Jedward!!! What a line up
We are known all over the world by being associated with many words that we should all take pride in; Leprechauns, Guinness, the freckly skin and striking red hair.
Not to mention we are the biggest party animals and always up for a ‘bitta craic and banter’
Love Ireland! X
I love ireland cuz we arent afraid to party all night and we hav a great vibe! also we hav crazy sports and crazy weather! hahah i luv ireland!!! xxxxx
i love ireland because of its history as i am into history. It dates back so far as the 1916 rising and is so nice to be apart of ireland and its culture. like if you have red hair people always think you are from ireland. even though we dont get that much sunshine but it is a very beautiful country to live in and ireland is famous for its culture and wide range of sports. so this is why i love ireland
For me some of the best things about being Irish are: being able to name everyone in your town because its so small and you’ve known everybody since… Forever! I love the way we’re all mega proud of being Irish and we nobody can resist tapping their feet along to a jig!!
It’s cheap and cheerful. You are guaranteed to have a extroidenary time! You could be the richest person in the world …to the poorest person in the world , because Ireland brings you many many tours/events/trips etc.. For not a penny out of your pocket , including events such as
- 1) The Burren:
Wedged between the rough beauty of the Aran Islands and the bustling university city of Galway, the near featureless desolation of this limestone plateau has often been likened to a moonscape. Ancient monuments and bizarre rock formations abound. Some spectacular sights can be taken in by driving next to Galway Bay.
-2) 5. Glendalough :
Here you will find one of the most important early Christian sights here. And its setting is simply beautiful, in a valley beside tranquil lakes. Lovers of history and/or architecture can indulge in two round towers, St Kevin’s Kitchen (actually a church) and a cathedral (ruin). Lovers of nature can simply enjoy the walks along the lakes.
Also if your a “SHOPAHOLIC” ( which many people are , including me ..hehe) you can visit the biggest ‘ new look ‘ in the WORLD! In the Jervis centre on henry street Dublin city centre !
– there is something for all ages of people , so that’s why you should come and visit IRELAND bayybee ♥

For such a small country, i love how friendly everyone! How nice the country side is!I love Irish heritage!
