There are few things better than strolling around Penneys, basket in hand, picking up a few bits. Particularly when it comes to beauty, they pretty much have all the bargains. Now that Penneys have opened their doors again, we’re only delighted that we can pop in to be tempted by what’s there. But if you’re feeling a bit lost as what to go for, we’ve got you covered. Here are some of the best beauty bits on the shelves in Penneys, that deserve a spot in your basket.

Catrice Ten!Sational 10 in 1 Dream Primer

If you’re looking for a great multi-purpose product that will help look after your skin and give it a nice radiant glow, you’re gonna just love this primer. Not only will it protect your skin from UV rays with SPF (although you might want to pair it with a higher SPF too) but it also has anti-pollution and antioxidant effects, gives your skin a boost of hydration and minimises any pores. Ideal for wearing alone or under foundation. You’ll find it on the Catrice stand in Penneys for €6.80.

Bahama Body Instant Tan

If you’ve tried and loved Bahama Body mousse, then it’s time to get excited about the latest Bahama Body product. The new instant tan is a dream to apply, with instant coverage and gorgeous colour in no time. Best part? You won’t be stuck waiting for it wear off, you can simply wash it off in the shower. Catrice Brow Colorist Semi-Permanent Brow Mascara

I started using this during lockdown, when I obviously couldn’t go out to a salon and get my usual thread and tint. Now, it’s one of my all-time faves! This brow gel mascara has a tint effect which means regular use will gradually intensify the natural colour of the eyebrow hairs, it’s like some kind of magic formula. All you have to do is simply brush the wand over your brows for an instantly fuller and thicker look. For around €4, it definitely deserves a spot in your Penneys basket.

Cocoa Brown Fresh Start

If you’re a fan of a developing tan, you’re gonna want something to remove it easily. Here’s where Cocoa Brown’s Fresh Start comes in. Out of all the tan removers I’ve tried this (and their Tough Stuff scrub) is my all-time fave. Simply rub it into your skin, leave it for 15 minutes then remove with an exfoliating glove. Voila! Tan free without all the effort that usually goes with it.

Alex Steinherr Supreme Sheet Mask

There’s something about sheet masks that make us feel SO relaxed, whether it’s the last step after your ‘big shower’, or you just fancy treating yourself to one while watching Queer Eye. This face mask from the Alex Steinherr range in Penneys is gorge, it makes your skin feel hydrated, soft and fab. Isn’t that all we need?

PS Jade Roller

One way to take your sheet mask up a notch is by using a jade roller over it. By rolling it over your face while you have the face mask on, it really pushes the product into the skin, ensuring the mask is really doing its job. Plus, it’s uber relaxing too. So it’s a win-win. When you’re not using a sheet mask, you can use the jade roller after you do your skincare to leave your muscles relaxed, drawing away toxins, and plenty more benefits.

PS Cleansing Cloths

Once you start using a cleansing cloth to remove your makeup, you won’t go back. The cleansing cloths from the PS range are always handy to have. They’re not pricey (it’s €4 for three of them) so it’s always great to have some backups. They’re super soft, perfect to pair with your cleanser to remove all your makeup and any other dirt that may have appeared on your face throughout the day, and ideal to throw into the washing machine after too.

PS eyeshadow palettes

Want to upgrade your eyeshadow game on a budget? The PS eyeshadow palettes are ideal. The shades are stunning, there’s so many to choose from and you can mix and match them to achieve the perfect look. Their neon collection looks insane, pick ’em up if you’re looking to introduce something new to your look.
