If you’re a fan of doing your own nails, or even getting them done every so often, chances are that you often match your nails to the time of year. And now that we’re in the lead up to Halloween (how did that happen?!) we’re all about the Halloween vibes. Whether it’s a subtle touch or you want to go all out. So, we’ve pulled together some of our favourite Halloween-esque nails, that, with a bit of practice, you’ll easily be able to copy at home.

And the go-to tools? Well, you’ll need your nail polishes of course, of course. If you’re going for Halloween-esque nails, opt for autumnal shades, like rust orange, deep black and even a pop of glitter here and there. Catrice nail polishes are great, and don’t break the bank either. Fancy investing in good nail polishes that are going to last you the distance? Opt for Essie or CND nail polishes, you won’t have to put up with half as much chipping, so your work of art will last as long as possible.

If you live near an art and crafts shop or a pound shop, grab your mask and head in to pick up some of those tiny brushes that you can use to do fine lines on your nails. Perfect for drawing cobwebs or pumpkins on your nails with your nail polish.

Another handy tool that you probably didn’t know you needed, is the Nailpad. The Nailpad is a portable nail polish station, with an integrated polish pot holder, that holds your nail polish bottle while keeping your hand steady too. Basically, it makes painting your nails ten times easier, and there’s no worry over spilling your nail polish on the couch or the carpet – could you think of anything worse than a bright red nail polish spilt all over a cream carpet? No, me neither. Check it out right here.
