Demi Lovato has hit back at claims that Max Ehrich, her fiance, previously sent several tweets about his love for Selena Gomez.

Over the last few days, Twitter users began sharing screenshots of alleged old tweets and posts from Max.

These include flirty Instagram comments on Madison Beer, Gigi and Bella Hadid, and Selena Gomez’s accounts.

There was also screenshots of him allegedly flirting with Miley and Arianna and even an Instagram live where he talks about his love for Selena Gomez and even talks about marrying her.

People began using #MaxEhrichIsOverParty while discussing the online activity and sharing alleged receipts.

After this, Demi took to Instagram to call out the situation and say that the images and comments are fake.

“It’s really sad when people FAKE images to put women against each other,” Demi said on her stories. “If women have conflict that’s between them NOT YOU.”

She went on to say that there are more important things going on in the world and she feels people are leaning into the ‘fake’ story because they need a distraction from a difficult year.

Demi and Max have got engaged in July after about four months of dating.

Meanwhile, Demi and Selena are no longer friends. Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar previously, Demi said: “When you grow up with somebody, you’re always going to have love for them. But I’m not friends with her…I will always have love for her, and I wish everybody nothing but the best.”

Neither Selena nor Max have commented on the social media situation.
