Ethan Klein Said He Did ‘Everything He Could’ To Save Frenemies After Trisha Paytas Row

Trisha surprised their co-host by pulling out of the popular pod.

Frenemies fans will be devastated to learn that the podcast has been called off.

The popular show started in 2020 with Trisha Paytas and Ethan Klein.

However, following an argument between Trisha and Ethan on episode 39, Trisha has said that they will no longer do the pod.

The argument was allegedly about pay and creative control for producers and the team on the show.

Trisha has since posted a 22-minute video to share that they are “stepping down from frenemies”, where they detailed why they no longer wanted to be involved.

Trisha said that despite them being ‘almost family’ with Ethan, they wanted to put their own mental health first rather than fighting each week on the pod.

“I really loved doing the show, but having said that… a lot of people were upset by my little episode yesterday,” they said, adding that the crew was upset with her.

Ethan has since said that he was surprised by the news, first tweeting:  “Not sure what to do with 4000 frenemies hoodies Disappointed face

He then added: “i am honestly gutted over this whole thing, trisha’s video this morning was a total surprise to me. I dont really know what more I can say or do. Im very sorry to all the fans of frenemies, I know how much it meant to everyone, I did everything I humanly could to save it”

He continued in another tweet: “At the end of the day, Frenemies was a beautiful experiment that I will always cherish. I’ve learned and grown so much from the experience and have Trisha to thank for that. She’s been a dear friend of mine throughout, and I’ll always be grateful for all she’s done for us”

Ethan later added that he deleted some tweets about Trisha and was going to take some time offline.

“Erased most of my recent tweets regarding trisha – shouldnt have said that on twitter – im going to take a step back for evening.”
