How To Use The New TikTok Voice Effects

The content is about to be ✨immacuate✨

Social media is rapidly evolving, this isn’t news to us. Constantly adding new features and effects to entertain users, apps like Instagram and TikTok are always coming up with new ways to keep us interested, and hey, it works!

The most recent change video-sharing app TikTok has made is a voice-altering option. It’s kind of like face filters, but y’know, for your voice.

The effect allows you to play around with different voice sounds, from baritone to elf – so it’s safe to say your TikTok creations are about to get a whole lot better!

If this feature sounds like something you could have some fun with, here’s how you can add it to your TikTok.

  1. Record your video as usual, and once it’s complete click on the red tick in the bottom right hand corner.
  2. This will then take you to the next step where you can choose ‘Voice Effects’ on the right hand side of your screen.
  3. From there you can choose from multiple voice options like ‘Chipmunk’ and ‘Electronic’
  4. Select whatever voice effect you want and voila! It’s added to your clip.

Please note – the voiceover effect is only available when ou create a video on the app, uploading a video from your camera roll won’t allow you the option.

Have fun!
