When Jesy Nelson released her documentary ‘Odd One Out’, it went down an absolute treat with fans. But it didn’t stop there, because it went down a treat at last night’s National Television Awards too. They documentary won the Best Factual Entertainment award, and it’s well deserved to say the least.

The film itself documents the struggles that Jesy felt about her appearance, her mental health and the hurtful comments she received when Little Mix started. During her acceptance speech, Jesy got emotional and understandably so, saying winning the award was “overwhelming”.

The documentary also included the stories of others who went through similar struggles, “I want to thank every single person in the documentary for being so brave and courageous for sharing their story with the world.”

This morning, Jesy took to Instagram to thank the rest of her fans, and to share just how happy she is. “Guys I honestly do not even know where to begin with this post! I woke up this morning and my heart is bursting with happiness! I cannot thank you all enough for making this moment happen, there are no words to describe how this moment felt and because of you guys you made this one of the most magical nights of my life! I love you all so much thank you.”

Well, it’s safe to say that award is so well deserved. Well done, Jesy!
