Justin Bieber Admits He Was Nervous To Commit To Wife Hailey

"I'm glad it worked out because she's an amazing person."

Justin Bieber has admitted that he was nervous to commit to his now-wife Hailey.

The couple wed in September 2018 and though the dreamy wedding looked nothing short of perfect, Biebs admits that he had his doubts about popping the question.

“I was extremely nervous. I felt like in the past, we had talked about you know, me asking the question, and I felt like she would say yes,” he told Ellen.

“So I wasn’t really nervous about the saying yes, but I think I was more nervous about ‘Am I gonna make this commitment? Am I able to make this commitment as a man and be able to honour you know, what I say?’”

He explained that settling down and being with one person forever was something he had to think about. To be fair, the pair are only in their 20s so it’s fair to have a good think about it all before saying ‘I do’.

He continued: “You know because that’s a serious commitment when you say you’re gonna love someone for better or for worse and like, be faithful.”

“That’s huge. Am I able to do that? And so I think that was really what I was battling with,” he said.

After some consideration, Justin explained that he realised it was exactly what he wanted.

“And I finally was like, ‘You know what? I’m gonna make the decision and follow through with it. Be a husband, and you know, this is what I’ve always wanted. I’m gonna just choose this woman and just do it.’”

“I’m glad it worked out because she’s an amazing amazing amazing person. She really is she’s precious and I enjoy spending my life with her.”
