KISS x Essence MUA Search: Meet The Finalists

Earlier this month, we launched a national search to find Ireland’s best teen MUA.

We partnered with one of our fave beauty brands, essence cosmetics and encouraged you, our lovely reader, to enter over on Instagram.

You could show us whatever type of makeup you wanted, from glam to costume, SFX and beyond, or a combination of your fave looks.

The results were honestly jawdropping.

For a small country, we have a ridiculous amount of talent and the creativity and love for art was so clear from all our entries.

There were almost 400 entries under the hashtag #KISSxEssenceMUASearch and we had the hardest time whittling it down to just 10 finalists.

After days of deliberation, here are our 10 finalists:

The winner will be announced on Monday, March 22nd.

The top spot will be chosen by three of the best beauty influencers in the country Aideen Kate, Serena Cleary and Ellie Kelly.

The winner will receive the prestigious title of being our first-ever KISS x Essence MUA Of The Year.

They’ll also win a beauty hamper from essence cosmetics worth over €100. They’ll get a takeover on essence_cosmetics Instagram Stories where they can showcase their talents.

They also get an exclusive interview on KISS.ie about their skills and ambitions as a makeup artist.
