Whether you have an anxiety disorder or feel anxious when things get overwhelming, many people will be familiar with the feeling.
Issues like this can affect everyone differently, but sometimes it helps to hear that someone else you look up to goes through tough times too, because we’re all human.
Lana Condor has never been shy about how anxiety and mental health issues affect her.
This week, she took to Twitter to explain how she copes when things get really hard.
“Some days my anxiety really gets me and I need to lay in bed & be alone until the trembling stops. And that is absolutely okay!” she wrote.
She went on to explain that due to her high-pressure job, she needs to take it easy in her spare time.
“I charge v introverted so that I can expel extroverted energy at my job. And that’s also okay. Take care of yourself and please be kind to yourself.”

Lana previously opened up about how taking on too much work affected her mental health.
“I was just saying yes to everything because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and you want to capitalize on it, and you want to feel like you’re fully embracing everything,” she told Self Magazine.
“But I’ve never felt more horrible mentally. I was so burned out… I would go home at night and I couldn’t speak. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t sleep. I would shake going to bed and shake waking up because it was just so much stimulation.”
She revealed that when she told her team they were shocked to hear how down she was, and decided to make a change.
“Once I shared it and was vulnerable with my team, it was a huge change,” she said. “They really have helped me navigate the industry now in a much more healthy way, where I feel like I can do what I love and also be the person that I want to be for myself.”
We’re so glad that Lana spoke out about how she was feeling and continues to be honest with her fans and people around her!
