Self-care is so important. While it might just sound like a buzzword or something from an Insta quote, it really just means looking after yourself mentally and physically and always making time for YOU!
We’ve checked with top lifestyle influencer Louise Conney to learn all about her self-care routine and to learn some tips too!
Louise, what does self-care mean to you?
Self-care means looking after myself mentally and physically in both my mind and body so that I feel in my best form to take on the day. It means taking a little bit of time to recharge and reflect, to pamper myself, catch up with a friend or just unwind. It also means looking after myself physically – which is eating the right foods, getting enough sleep, taking care of my immune system. What is your favourite pick-me-up activity when you’re not feeling great?
I’ve gotten really into reading over the past few months – I even started my own book club. I love the escapism you can get with a good book and I love meeting everyone virtually to chat about it. I really miss the social aspect of life so it’s helped a lot.

What do you wish you knew about health and wellness as a teen?
I wish I knew how closely related nutrition was to hormone regulation, to ensure I have a balanced diet containing good fats, B Vitamins and Vitamin D. and Another reason why Cleanmarine For Women has been a great addition to my life, I just wish I’d started taking it when I was a teenager! Hormone health is so important because hormones are more than just your mood, they affect energy levels, movement, hunger, blood pressure and much more.
