While we’re all aware that fashion and clothes aren’t the most important thing in life, sometimes a missing belt loop or a crop top that just won’t sit right can wreak havoc on your outfit plans.

It happens to us all, we plan the cutest outfits in our heads, certain that it’ll turn heads wherever you go, and then when you try it on, it’s a disaster. The smallest details like showing bra straps can not only ruin your outfit but your day too. From banishing those pesky bobbles to cropping the perfect crop top without a pair of scissors in sight, let us take you through each hack.

The Quickest Way To Crop A Tee

Taking an oversized t-shirt, grab both sides and begin to twist them inwards. When you’re happy with your twists, carefully take each side and secure them in place under your bra. Fix your crop to how you want it to look and voila, a perfectly cropped tee in under 1 minute!

How To Hide Bra Straps

Nothing is quite as annoying as putting together the perfect outfit, only to realise that your bra straps are showing and you don’t own a strapless one. Well, you can quickly turn your regular bra into a racerback style with this easy hack. Simply grab a safety pin (we hear you can also do this with a hair tie) and grab your bra straps together at the back. Secure both straps in the middle of your back together with your safety pin and you’re good to go.

How To Make A New Belt Loop

Whether your belt won’t reach the next belt loop on your jeans or your jeans simply don’t have any loops (annoying), you can create your own with this trick. Taking a hair tie that’s probably already sitting on your wrist, place it behind your belt, keeping hold of each end. When you’ve done this you need to take each end and pull it over the loose part of your belt. When both hair tie ends have been pulled over simply fix it to where you want it to be and you’re done.

Getting Rid Of Clothes Bobbles

While we’ve been living in loungewear recently and loving it, there is one problem with wearing the material that so many of our joggers are made of – and that’s bobbles. There’s no way to avoid them, but if they do form there is an easy way to get rid of them. Grabbing a new razor (an unused one would work best as it’s sharper) simple shave the surface of the material, slowing removing the bobbles as you go. This can take a little while, but perseverance is key and soon you will have clothes that look brand new again!
