July is almost here and that means a whole lot of new content on Netflix. If you’re not watching Love Island, you might be looking for something else to get hooked on next month.
It’s a great month on Netflix with some of our favourite shows returning for a new season. Pair that with some classic movies and old favourites, and we’ve got quite the line up!
Never Have I Ever S2- July 15
Devi is back and in a bit of a love triangle with Paxton and Ben. We’ll see her juggle boyfriends and get back on track with her friends. Plus there are some new characters coming that we’re sure will shake things up!

Outer Banks S2 – July 30
Also back for season 2 is Outer Banks. We’ll meet them in the Bahamas. Plus, Madelyn Cline, who plays Sarah B has hinted that there’ll be a bit of a time jump for this season! Check out more on that here.
Atypical S4 – July 9
Atypical is back for a fourth season this month. The show follows 19-year-old Sam, who is on the autism spectrum, who has decided he is ready for romance and independence.
Young Royals – July 1
If you find yourself hooked on The Crown or Meghan and Harry updates, this show may be for you!
It follows Prince Wilhelm as he adjusts to life at his prestigious new boarding school, but following his heart proves more challenging than anticipated.
Sexy Beasts – July 21
Who needs Love Island or Too Hot To Handle when you have a show about people who go on first dates while dressed as animals? Not us!

Virgin River S3 – July 9
Virgin River is back for a third season and this time, Mel and her loved ones in Virgin River support each other while facing all sorts of troubles: death, a fire, custody arguments, breakups and more.
If you haven’t seen this iconic film yet, your parents will probably be buzzing to watch it with you! An alien is left behind on Earth and is saved by young Elliot who decides to keep him hidden. While the task force hunts for it, Elliot and his siblings form an emotional bond with their new friend.
Rocky, a rooster, and Ginger, a chicken, decide to escape from a chicken farm when they learn that their owner is plotting to have them killed.
Coming To America
Though it recently got a sequel, the first instalment is coming to Netflix this month, it follows
African Prince Akeem, played by Eddie Murphy, who on his 21st birthday has to marry a woman he has never seen. Determined to break tradition, he goes to America to look for one he can truly love and respect.
If you’re not able for horror or scary movies, look away now. It follows Dani, whose psychological trauma affects her relationship with her boyfriend Christian. However, when they visit their friend’s ancestral commune in an effort to mend things, it changes their lives forever. Florence Pugh stars. (16s)
