Well, it’s March again. After a very strange and stressful year, we’re relying on light entertainment more than ever. Thankfully, Netflix have made sure to add plenty of fun and interesting content this month to keep us entertained.
Check out our top picks for March.
The Bold Type – March 1
If you love shows about strong female friendship and the glam (and not so glam) world of magazines and media, this is the perfect show for you. It follows Jane, Sutton and Kat in the ups and downs of their careers and personal lives. It also tackles tricky subjects like assault, grief, sexuality, racism and more. All 4 seasons are available now!
Moxie – March 3
Vivian is a seemingly shy 16-year-old, who has always preferred to keep her head down and fly under the radar. But when the arrival of a new student forces her to examine the unchecked behaviour of her fellow students running rampant at her high school, Vivian realizes she’s fed up. Inspired by her mother’s rebellious past, Vivian anonymously publishes an underground zine called Moxie to expose bias and wrongdoing in her high school, and unexpectedly sparks a movement. Now at the center of a revolution, Vivian begins to forge new friendships with other young women and allies, reaching across the divide of cliques and clubs as they learn to navigate the highs and lows of high school together.
The One – March 12
Get ready for your latest TV obsession, this is like Love Is Blind and Married at First Sight on steroids, and set five-minutes into the future. Matching people based on their DNA, the eight-part drama finds if genetics really can find you ‘the one’.
YES DAY – March 12
Always feeling like they have to say NO to their kids and co-workers, Allison and Carlos decide to give their three kids a YES DAY — where for 24 hours the kids make the rules. Little did they know that they’d be going on a whirlwind adventure around Los Angeles, that would bring the family closer to each other than ever before.
