Blowing out your eyeshadow is the simplest way to add drama to any makeup look. Even if you’re just going for a light brown all over the lid, blending it out a bit more adds a little oomph.
First up, pop on your base as normal (using your fave primer, foundation, concealer and powder), then going in with some bronzer to warm up your face, here, I used Carter Beauty’s bronzing palette. With a large brush, blend the bronzer in a ‘3’ shape, from your jawline, under your cheekbones and along your forehead. Pop on your blush, I used Benefit’s GALifornia, for a pop of colour and some added depth.
Then, it’s time to go all out with the highlighter. By pairing a liquid highlight with a powder, you can really make the top of your cheekbones pop. Here, I paired Luna by Lisa‘s highlighting drops with the matching powder highlight, they’re a match made in heaven!
Next up, fill in your brows. Anatasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer is a super simple pencil to use, especially if you’re in a hurry because it takes no time at all. Then, it’s time for eyes. Using the BPerfect Master Palette, I pressed the shade ‘Tiger’ all over the lid, taking it under the lashline, packing on more shadow as needed and using the edge of the brush, blowing it out further. There are no rules here, you can literally go out as little or as far as you like!
Finally, pop on some lipstick and your go-to lashes or mascara, and you’re good to go! Check out our full tutorial below, and let us know in the comments on Instagram what you’d like to see next!
