We Celebrated Our Readers With A Day Of Pampering With Sculpted By Aimee

KISS Promotion: Thanks to our friends at Sculpted By Aimee.

Second Skin, Sculpted By Aimee’s best selling complexion hero turned two this month and we had to have a bit of a party to celebrate.

The product has mineral formula and a medium, buildable coverage in either Matte or Dewy to suit all skin types. It’s got SPF50 and is packed full of skin-loving ingredients, so it’s certainly worth celebrating.

And what better way to mark the big birthday than to invite some of our lovely readers to have a day of pampering and modelling for a photoshoot?

After a callout on our Instagram, we rounded up some lovely readers for a fabulous day.

Priya and Aoife were treated to a day in our studio styled by our Fashion Editor Zeda, and had their makeup done by top makeup artists from the Sculpted by Aimee team.

And the results? Absolutely stunning of course! Let’s meet the readers and see how they got on.

What was it like being one of the stars of a photoshoot?

It was an amazing experience. Everyone was so lovely, and it just made so much easier. Zeda the designer was trying to help whenever she could, it was just an amazing day.

What was your favourite part of the day?

Getting my hair and makeup done was definitely the highlight of the day, it was nice to feel pampered with the lovely Sculpted by Aimee products.

Are you a big makeup fan?

I love makeup when I go out, it gives me confidence. A red lip moment can never go wrong.

Does putting makeup on help you feel more confident?

It definitely does, makeup makes your face look so much better, but again being natural is the best thing ever. Makeup is just for special occasions.

Did you learn beauty tips or tricks on the day?

I did indeed, I’m not the best when it comes to doing makeup tricks. Michelle from Sculpted by Aimee was very informative about the products and how to use them.

Fave Sculpted by Aimee product used?

I’d say I love the blush and the highlighter the most, the lovely blushing cheeks and the amazing highlighter just made my face look glamorous. I’ve added them to my makeup bag already.

How did your photoshoot go?

It was a mad experience I think everyone felt a bit self-conscious at the beginning but once everyone got comfortable it was such a good day and we all had such a laugh doing it.

I think it was watching everyone embrace their inner Tyra Banks, getting comfortable behind the camera and doing such a good job of it was my favourite part of the day!

What’s your makeup style?

I’d be more of a fill in my eyebrows and a lick of mascara girl myself but I do love when you find a good piece of make up like a nice foundation that you actually will get use out of.

Does putting makeup on help you feel more confident?

Oh absolutely, I’ve quite a rosy complexion so I love looking like I have an even skin tone.

Did you learn any beauty tips on the day?

Yes! The make up artist Amy did my contour way higher up than I normally do and I feel it fully changed the shape of my face so that’s how I’ll be doing it from now on!

Fave Sculpted by Aimee product used?

I loved the cream contour, highlight and blush, they’re unbelievable and go on and blend so smooth!
